Information you give us: This is information you provide by filling in forms on our site (such as our contact or booking forms), contacting us by phone, email, or otherwise. It includes information provided when you make a booking for a service, MOT, or vehicle hire. The information you give us may include your name, address, email address, phone number, and vehicle details.
Information we collect about you: With regard to each of your visits to our site we may automatically collect the following information:
- Technical information, including the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet, browser type and version, time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform.
- Information about your visit, including the full Uniform Resource Locators (URL) clickstream to, through and from our site (including date and time); products you viewed or searched for; page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), and methods used to browse away from the page.

For van hire, we also collect the driver’s date of birth, occupation, driving licence details, DVLA check code, insurance declarations, digital signature and acceptance of the hire terms. If supplied, this includes details about driving history, convictions and health relevant to the insurance questions. We use these details to assess and administer the hire and insurance requirements. When you continue to payment, your application is saved even if payment is not completed.

Our website uses essential cookies to support secure forms and booking sessions.

We use Fathom Analytics to understand how our website is used. Fathom’s visitor analytics does not use tracking cookies or build advertising profiles across websites. More information is available in Fathom’s privacy policy.

Our pages also use third-party services, including embedded Google Maps and externally hosted fonts and other website resources. Loading these services sends technical information, such as your IP address, to the relevant provider.

Online payments

Online card payments are processed through Dojo’s secure hosted checkout. We send Dojo the payment amount, hire description and booking reference, and receive payment and refund status information to manage your booking. You enter your card details directly with Dojo; our website does not collect or store your full card number or security code. See Dojo’s privacy policy for information about its processing.

6. Where We Store Your Personal Data

Driver application details stored by our booking system are encrypted and access is restricted to authorised staff. Our payment, analytics and other service providers process information in accordance with their own privacy information, including information about processing locations and international transfers.

Under the UK GDPR, you have the right to:

Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
Request correction of any inaccurate personal data.
Request erasure of your personal data where there is no good reason for us to continue to process it.
Object to the processing of your personal data.
